Versatility Competition

The sixth annual Vesatility Ranch Horse Competition will be held at the beautiful Adobe Park Indoor Arena in September 2008. Due to the growing number of entries, the 2007 competition was increased to 2 days. an

NEW for this years versatility was a Ranchers Versatility .  It was a lot of fun and and we had a large number of entries and a large jackpot . This will be continued in 2008.

The 2007 V. R. H. provided over $4500 in prize money and awards for Open, Amateur, and Juniors.  The competition was the best ever with 26 riders from all over  Colorado and New Mexico.

We are happy to announce that Ariat  and Murdoch's are two of our new sponsors for the Versatility Ranch Horse Competition.  Over $1000  in Ariat boots and engraved belt buckles from Murdoch's were given away to the winners of this years competition along with cash awards and other prizes.

Murdoch's will sponsor some kids events, (examples- catch a rabbit, catch a greased pig, rope a steer head, etc) during the Versatility competition with prizes included. Bring the kids, grandkids and go home a winner.

V.R.H. Practices

Training horses for V. R. H. is year-round and practices for horse and rider are held every Sunday - April through September.

Jerry Lucas, a well known AQHA judge and western horse trainer who specializes in Cutting, will be conducting 2-day clinics in Versatility Ranch Horse for Victory Hill Training Center to a limited number of riders starting April, 2008.  Jerry was high point cutting horse contestant on horses he personally trained for 4 Corners Cutting Horse Competitions for 2005.  Contact Sandy with any questions.
